Both in Film and Literature, the phrase "Kill your darlings." An advice a lot of people would have come across— means removing the things you hold dearly and love the most that won't help you advance in the story you are trying to write that doesn't really fit in within the narrative.

I've been holding off on watching this film for a while now. And I am in all sorts of emotions after watching it (what the heck, Dane Deehan and Daniel Radcliffe, wow!). Metaphorically shows the circle as the plot circles back to the opening scene. The title speaks for the movie itself as it is mentioned in a scene and at the same time (spoiler alert), is literally applied.

Allen Ginsberg, William S Burroughs, Jack Kerouac, in a film. I figured that this summarizes the life of the Beat generation too.

I guess the reality is, don't force things no matter how much you love it. If it doesn't fit in your story... Let them go.

The film is so fucked up. Writers are so fucked up (I can trash talk my own kind, yes thank you).
